No Cage Can Hold Me

I'm wild, I’m crazy.
I’m deranged and insane.
I'm calm, I'm cool,
I'm tranquil and tame.
I'm confined by my body
But my mind sets me free.
No cage can made
To hold one like me,

When life beats you down
I'm on my way up.
When the world is hones,
I’ll be corrupt.
When you’re all falling,
I'm growing wings and flying.
No cage can be made
But they’re all still trying.

When the world thinks me a fool
For still being alive
For finding the lunacy
From which I derive.
When you’re all out to get me,
And I try to hide,
They’ll build me a cage
And force me inside.

I may be trapped,
Concealed behind iron walls,
But my mind is elsewhere
With the great oceans or majestic falls.
I'm confined by my body
But my mind sets me free,
No cage can be made
To hold one like me.
