Maybe I will Someday

Riding in this car
As I gaze upon a star
I feel a tear roll down my face
Right now I feel out of place

I look into your eyes
And remember all the lies
That I've told
And all the nights I spent in the cold
Thinking of you
And exactly what I should do

I wish so for you to be mine
Then we'd be together for all time
But my mouth won't find the words
My heart wants it to say
Maybe I will someday

But maybe words can't describe
Everything I feel for you inside
Everytime I look into your eyes
Or see your beautiful smile
How my stomach fills with butterflies

Right now I can't say
How it feels to hold you
Or exactly how your lips taste
Oh..but maybe I will someday
