Garden Of The Dead

Walk with me Love, to the Garden of the Dead
Across the forbidden grounds we shall tred

A garden once filled with hope and life
Now overgrown with weeds of strife

Lost upon this unholy land
Walking together hand in hand

Such deaden beauty shadows do stir
Looming memories of things that once were

I picked a rose of ash for you
Signs of its pain bleeding through

Withered and dead as my life will be soon
Cherishing our moments under the moon

" A disease grows inside me I'm sorry to say
Death shall overcome me by the break of day "

Tears of his sorrow began to fall down
As he cried upon this forsaken ground

" Don't cry My Love, we shall always be
Through life and death Through eternity "

They stayed together throughout the night
Devoured in their passion out of sight

The sun rose as her life began to fade
Her body and his heart now both decayed

He cursed the sun and damned the day
For it had taken his one true love away
