Dismember me
Dissect me
Infect me
Tell me what’s inside
Tell me what my body hides
Tear me apart
Especially my heart
Punish it for what it has done to me
Remove my hands so I can’t grasp
All the things that are leaving fast
Cut off my arms so I can do no more harm
Puncture my lungs so I can’t breathe
Nor utter another hurtful word
Amputate my legs so I can’t get any closer to you
For I only cause pain
Gouge out my eyes so I can’t see
All the scars I’ve put on me
Cut off my ears so I can’t hear
All the words I say that cause you fear
Cut off my tongue so I can’t taste
All the bitter things
Cut off my nose so I can’t smell
All the creatures that dwell
Inside myself
Sew my mouth shut
So I can’t speak
Tear out my spine so I can’t stand up for myself
Boil my skin so I can’t feel
Anything that is real
Throw me off a cliff and watch me fall
Do this for me
And your pain will die
Along with me
