Im left alone in the middle of an unmerciful desert
Stripping my throat of all moisture
Sucking the very life out of me
The only thing I see
Is a mirage of my past
The days when I understood
When I comprehended
When I was happy
Now all that’s left of me is an empty shell
I scratch off the enamel trying to see what’s inside
Like Pandora’s box
I’m locked up tight
No one can get in
Not even myself
I’m a pointless being
A worthless creature
And empty shell with no meaning
A numb thing
