Dear Leah,

I have been without your voice for many days. The songbird-like melody still
fills my ears. The grace in your step I will forever miss. It will never be
the same, it is lost forever. The sunny days mean nothing to me. They are
dark and lonely without you next to me. The warmth of your hand locked in
mine, oh how the thought makes me tingle to this day. The last words you
spoke were not enough to hold me over. I still long for those sweet
whispers. You had to leave me for more important adventures. I wish I had
gone along after all. I wish I had visited you in the fall. Now I only have
memories of you. They fill my dreams, they are all about you. Then I finally
got the courage to pick up the phone and when I heard the other man's voice
I felt so alone. My love had left me for someone else. Someone that would
follow her until the end.
