"Regret"

Seeking the light from the bright stars,
I try to see outside these silver bars.
Locked in here for killing dad,
He just always makes me so mad.
Beating me with his grand fist,
Adding me onto his death list.
I wonder if he even cared,
I wonder if he even dared.
He never did need to hurt me,
Depressed is all I will be.
So if you just wanted my tears,
You only got some of my fears.
But today I'm locked up in this cell,
And I look at the tears that fell.
Me killing you has made me cried,
And now I'm wishing you never died.
