Let's pretend, my January friend
That life was simpler than it seems
That we are in love, and words mean so much
Let's endulge this simple life.

Let's pretend, my january friend
That we'll live our lives together
That old age has become a friend
Holding hands in our fading sunsets

Let's pretend, my January Friend
That the children look like you
With your smile and nose, but my eyes:
Pieces of perfection born of love.

And let's pretend, my January friend
That the world stopped for us today.
That we would live in this moment
And consumate each other in a
Forever instant of time.

So let's pretend, my January friend
That this was a life we lost.
So dwell in your sin and remember this pain, because it's all a dream
in

The end
