19th Story

I can see the past in you.
You don't know how often I dream of you.
So perfect in darkness.
So strong my hate.
So strong my feeling of death and life that circulate.

Reality faded.
Spirit tainted.
My world controlled by your thoughts.
You've created me a living hell.

I've become another one of your slaves.
Another demon in your broken army.
Now let's cut it into our faces.

My soul is pouring through my eyes.
Tonight's the night your bondage dies.
The time I care the direction of my fate.
We'll see who cares when they see me,
We'll see who comes from life to deliver me
when they see me about to jump from the 19th story.

I can see the fear in him.
He's catching each of my tears like the ground isn't worthy.
"Too perfect for darkness!" he cries.
"Too strong to let go!
So strong my feelings for you to keep you life!"

"Follow me, and I'll make your reality created!
You spirit untainted!
I'll make a world for us to live in!"

I'm hanging off the edge.
My feet slippery, my fingers numb.
Still you cannot stir all of this resentment towards life that I feel.

My soul is pouring through my eyes.
Tonight's the night your bondage dies.
The time I care the direction of my fate.
We'll see who cares when they see me,
We'll see who comes from life to deliver me
when they see me about to jump from the 19th story.

Left in front of me is you
with my tears still in your hand...
You carry me in your arms from
the 19th story.

...Like a child...I need to be protected.

*AUTHORS NOTE*
I wrote this because this summer I was really depressed; on the brink of
suicide, but then my new boyfriend showed up and stole my pain away from me.
