Like a bud before it reveals itself i
inside,
She was scared to see what world held.
While she curled up nothing was let in.
Left behind in darkness she was forgotten.
After struggling for so long her heart began to ache.

Everything held so dear was released.
The bitter taste of letting it all out burned inside.
Pain grew deep beneath her veins.
Taunting in her ears was taken to the heart.
She woke up from nightmares screaming stop.

No one could hear her plead for help.
No one even seemed to care.
If she were to die today, right now.
The world would keep turning as though it never happened.
Her existence was nothing to anyone else.
So she shoved the knife deep into her bleeding heart.

The next day in class the teacher called role.
When arriving upon her name it was skipped.
What was the point of the last 15 years
Did her existence even settle in their minds.
Or was she just another girl who chose to take her life?
