Ungrateful Son

Mom...

I'm sorry if I'm not what you want.
I'm sorry if I look like a girl.
I'm sorry that we don't talk.
I just like to be in my own little world.

I'm sorry I always "want".
I'm sorry I cause irritation.
But despite what you believe,
I do put things into consideration.

I really do love God.
And I try to put you next.
I'm sorry if that doesn't seem true.
Because your money I do kinda flex.

I try to do good in school.
But the teachers are kinda crappy.
And I'm sorry you think my life revolves around "her".
I can't help she makes me happy.

But I'm sorry my actions don't reflect,
The way I look at life.
And so I'm sorry for all the times,
That I forgot to kiss you goodnight.

But I want to let you know,
That I love you, and what you've done.
But I'm sorry that it seems like,
I'm just another ungrateful son.
