One time I took you by the hand
We went off to the promised land
The place were you and I could be
Together for eternity

The days spent there were uber good
The ones away were understood
The times were great and fruitful too
I truly think that I loved you

I live a long and lonely night
I live with pain but it’s all right
Because deep down inside I know
Now I’m the one that runs the show

Now that I’m here in my own place
A smile breaks across my face
A razor glides across my tongue
Telling me that we were so young

And through these drops of blood I taste
The mistake of ignorant haste
So kiss me now, my hand you’ll hold
My life is gone, that’s why it’s cold

We were so young; it’s not your fault
I’m out of time; my life must halt
Now that I’m dead and gone from here
You no longer have me to fear
