her love

she swoons.


he talks
she listens

his pain
erased

she thinks,
he does

their lives
intertwined.

love is this?
i think not

but lets
pretend

that love is easy
as this story ends.

it goes forever
this story i share
but the love does not
do all but stare

do not envy them
do not think they have it all
for you forget
that love is fleeting.

love is the thing
that people mistake
for lust and passion
they all forsake this
word called love

but i know better
i learned to hard way.
so hear my words
and answer my plea.
dont fall in love
or youll end up like me.

alone and battered
torn and shattered
the person that you all
love to pity.
