Looking in a crystal ball seeing what is there is to see
Wondering whose horrid life this could be
I see this girl that I don’t think I recognize
She has pale, Sapphire, bloodshot eyes
And a heart full of twisted lies
She has scars that show her pain
These scars help her take all the blame
The crystal ball flashes. Same girl. Different time.
It’s kind of scary how her life is a lot like mine
She is sitting in a bathtub knife in hand
Crying whishing that they would understand
Why she has to use this knife
Why she has to take her life
Why she just can’t wash it away
Why she can no longer stay
The ball flashes back to her childhood
There she and a boy stood
They looked so sweet they were in love
Like they were a match made from above
What happened to this innocent scene
Makes you wonder what happened in between
Makes you wonder what happened to all the laughter
The ball flashes faster and faster
Each image more horrid than the one before it
The ending she has chosen seems to fit
The ball stops and all I see is red
I realize she’s not killing herself she’s already dead
Her soul was gone, it died with him
Blackened hearts and light grows dim
Sapphire eyes full of tears
Who is there to calm her fears
Bloody wrist, sharpened knife
Wanting death, fighting life
An image becomes clear in the crystal ball
As I see her I realize I have let a tear fall
As the image clears a tear falls one more time
This one’s weird, I can read her mind
As the tears roll down her face
She longs for his tender embrace
Longs to feel his sweet lips on hers
Longs to hear his sweet words
The ball flashes just once more
Her mother is standing at the bathroom door
Her parents picked up the note
And read the words that she had wrote
Though they couldn’t see through all the tears
Realizing the worst had came of all their fears
Through the blur of all of the sorrow
They read the note vindicating why she didn’t want to live to see tomorrow
