One Last Goodbye

Another day had come and gone
no one knew what was truly going on
She tried to hide the pain, keep it inside
Nothing seemed to work, she just wanted to die

She sat alone in her room, day after day, night after night
Nothing could calm her, she was covered in fright
Afraid of the life that lie before her
Afraid of what lie ahead
She just wanted to die and be in her eternal bed

The thoughts and the memories took over her one last time,
It was as if no one could hear her, like she was a mime
She tried to hide from the pain, to end her never-ending days
Nothing could terminate it, keep it away

Day after day, scar after scar
One last wish to that brightest star
As she began to panic, she began to cry
She's wondering how she lived it like this, she's wondering why.

No one knows what happened to the Angelic girl they once knew
Now her career, her life was through
With one last phone call, one last good-bye
She softly laid her head down and painfully began to die
