She came home smiling.
She sat on her bed,
Thinking of him.
How perfect he is..
How wonderful he is.

The next day,
She came home laughing.
She sat on her bed,
Thinking of how funny he is.
How perfect he is..
How wonderful he is.

The next day,
She came home angry.
Gripping her schoolbooks,
She sat on her bed,
Thinking of him.
How he held that other girl's hand..
And how he denied it all.

The next day,
She came home crying.
She layed on her bed,
Thinking of him.
How he hurt her..
How he said he didn't feel the same way.

The next day,
She came home crying once again.
Crying,
She looked at her dresser droor.
A hidden razor,
Held her fate.

On one hand..
Depression was taking over
On another..
Was her future.

She shook her head..
And kept on crying.

She woke up the next day..
Smiling at first..
But then he came to mind.
She thought to herself..
Of how he hurt her..
How he never felt the same way..
And how he lied.

She grabbed her books,
And went to school.

She came back smiling..
Thinking of what he said.
How sweet..
How romantic.
The other girl didn't mean anything to him..
Is what he said.

They went on a date..
A date where she lost the most important thing.
She doesn't understand how she could've done it..
Caught up in the moment maybe?
Or maybe just tricked.

The next day,
She came home angry..
Angry because of the rumors spread.
Was she really that easy?

The final day..
She came home crying.
Crying because her reputation had been ruined.

She looked at the droor one last time,
Opened it..
And saw what she thought she needed.
Was she caught up in the moment?
Or just suicidal?

Thanks to him,
Her reputation was ruined..
But he thought nothing of it.
After all..
Why care about a girl he only used?
Why care about a love he only faked?
Why care about a lost cause such as her?

She could've been something..
But he ruined it all with just one lie.

So maybe love is the quickest form of suicide..
Maybe all love does for you is give you pain..

But maybe ignorance causes suicide..
And maybe what you think is love..
Is ignorance instead.

Either way,
Just one simple lie..
Caused that girl to be dead.
