walking in the darkness of the countryside
black as black of skies, stars dancing in the quiet wind
down the dirtcaked roads i walked
strangely up ahead i spot two loud headlights coming forth
alone i walk wondering whom that stranger might be
the night became eerie silent
the strange headlights get closer with no sound of gravel underneath the
tires
a warn, peaceful feeling comes over me, as the lights get even closer
it's then i realize that the two lights are two little lightening bugs alone
together
they landed on my shoulder, i felt loved
but at the same time i only wanted to be loved by you
alone with you sharing my stories and my love
walking alone in the darkness of the countryside, i only wanted to be loved
by you
