I have an assortment of Pleasures,
Many pleasures to show only You,
An assortment of such happy memories,
And of many wonderful things too,
Hidden within an old wooden chest,
Tucked safely up under my bed,
An assortment of so many memories,
And songs now stuck in my head,
Over the years that have gone by,
And yes that's a long time ago,
I look at the memories lingering,
And share with You so You'll know,
These memories are now dorment,
Not used these days any more,
So when I want to recall them,
I just open my chests wooden door,
There I recall all the memories,
From when I was but just a child,
Laughing at pictures now fading,
When my folks would really get riled,
There is a toy I so cheerish,
A doll with blonde golden hair,
I remember the day it was given,
As a gift to me with such care,
Ribbons and lace covered dollies,
Packages unopened too,
True these are old happy memories,
I now wish to share them with You.~*...
