I said "I love you too"
I promised to never leave you
and you promised too

We said good night
and I slept tight
Knowing I loved you with all my might
and thinking everything was right

I watched you pack
knowing you'd be back
I thought of you all weekend long
I almost froze to hear our song

You called me that one day
It's over was all you had to say
You had found someone new
I didn't know what to do

some said I should be mad
others said I should be sad
One told me to be glad
I was just thankful for the times we had
