In a world full of miracles
Sits a girl who knows
That the world is un-accepting
And how her story would go
She sits calmly
In her wardrobe of all black
Once she goes all the way
She knows there’s no coming back
She has two choices
To decide for her life
One will make her miserable but her life easy
The other will make her ecstatic but her world would be full of strife
She could live a lie
That would help her get by
Or she could be who she is meant to be
And live a life that is free
She didn’t know how she would feel
If he family was un-accepting
Or if she told them the truth
They’d be unbelieving
How could she tell them
How could she manage
To let he true self escape
There’s no real advantage
She’s dead set on it
Dead set on living free
No matter how or who she is
To live she must truthfully be
She paints a picture
Of herself in her mind
Of what is to come
All in due time
A Juliet dark and sad
But do not fret
She may not have a Romeo
But that’s because she has her own Juliet
