You think about when you shared your first hug
Isn’t it true that when your day seems so long
Seeing them changes all the things that went wrong

Isn’t it true when you kissed for the first time
A constant vision just plays through your mind
Isn’t it true that when you talk about life
It always ends up with a husband and wife

Isn’t it true that you’ll do anything to share
And remind them of how much you truly care
Isn’t it true when they hold the key to your heart
You hope and you pray that you are never apart

Isn’t it true love can never be broken
As much as lies should never be spoken
Isn’t it true that there will always be pain
But deep down inside love will always remain


Isn’t it true when you can’t sleep at night
Was probably because you had your first fight
Isn’t it true that when they don’t even try
A part of your soul starts to silently cry

Isn’t it true that when you feel really sad
All you think is how they treated you bad

They hurt you more because they know all your fears

Isn’t it true that when you let someone go
They end up with someone they don’t even know
That’s life I guess it’ll one day get better
