Day after day, night after night, the same thing.
She puts on a mask to hide the pain it brings.
Everyone thinks they know her, that they're good friends.
But in truth, she just wants her life to end.
She feels there’s no hope, no reason to stay.
Too late now, there’s nothing you can say.
But no one can tell, no one can see,
all her problems with her life and family.
She just pretends everything is fine,
and people believe it, all the time.
She creates an image so perfectly displayed,
So people won’t lecture her, so they'll just go away.
So next time you chat with her, next time you talk.
Be sure to be gentle, or she might walk.
