When she wakes up, she just sighs
This is another day that she has to tell people lies
There's so many reasons why she's so sad
And one of those reasons is because of her dad
When school's over, she prays that he's not home
And that maybe tonight she'll be able to be alone
But everynight he ends up walking through her door
And starts slamming her down on her bedroom floor
He hits her until her mom gets home
And whispers to her that this is to be unknown
So everything that happens here, she keeps inside
No one has any idea how bad she wishes that she would die
Her best friend has no clue what goes on
But her dad has been abusing her for so long
And she blames everything on herself
She wants to tell someone that she needs help
But she's too afraid of what her dad might do
So everyday is a struggle for her to try and get through
But the worst thing is, that she pretends she's fine
Even though everyday her dad commits a crime.
