Dusk Till Dawn

With each glancing whisper
A thought unto it's own
The shade in which it's covered
A light gray it fades
A fading moment on life
Given to a darken slumber
And as the cool air follows
we bow our heads to see

The darkness shadows the fear
which we hold back in our minds
The stars hold the meaning
But it also breeds the lies
A cautious step is taken
A hand thrown in the air
To look for a passage
To find another way there

Soon the darkness is caught fading
Given to a new light
It's creeping only inches
warming the ground it touches
We rub our eyes and wonder
was it real or was it fake?
Could it all have been a dream
was anything at stake.
