Put me to sleep now, don't let me awake
There's only so much pain that a person can take
My blood shot eyes aren't red anymore
And there's still a bloody knife lying on my bedroom floor
There's no one here that you can really blame
It's not your fault I'm surrounded with pain
When I go home, I cut myself so deep
Hoping that I will die in my sleep
And all those happy memories keep playing in my head
I can't take this anymore, I'm better off dead
There's nothing that anyone can do
No one can help, not even you
Medicine may reduce the pain, but it will never take it away
This is something so strong, it will decide whether or not you live another
day.
