Fearful Memories

I fear for a memory, that once was her.
To remember a moment, but now un-sure.
I know of a meaning and what I must do.
But what of the price and the lives that will pay.

A staple that hinders and blocks everyway.
So distant your touch,
So hard to say.
Your life meant nothing,
so distant to you.
To me it was everything
Any price wouldn't do.

Now you are missed,
Crawling in the dark
Clawing at the ceiling
of where you will forever sleep.
I wish I could join you,
I wish I could stay.
I buried my sorrows with you on that day.
