With dark dawning night,
I close my eyes
And remember the past
Behind me.

Recall all those times
A pleasent recollection...
At times it seems
To good to be true

My greatest love,
yet my saddest loss
To be blind
is a wonderful thing

With a familiar face
covered in dust
My thumb uncovers
a clue

Never a feeling
to hinder my thoughts
to bed she died...
So young

So pack this away
And tape it up
It's better to
Shroud your past

For if its allowed
To brood and thrive
It will forever hunt
your future.
