On butterfly wings she flys
through this imaginary world
feeling no pain and seeing little blood
she has no taste in reality
and thats how it will stay
she doesn't ask for much
on these butterfly wings
so beautiful indeed
she hides her pain so well
and i could never tell
that she crys every night
she keeps these secrets
underneath of her cloths
i look at her from day to day
wondering how she can fly
on these tourn and bleeding butterfly wings
i promise i'll never let her go
if her wings give out on her
i'll make sure she wont feel any pain
and she always has a smile on her face
i promise to be her... butterfly wings
