Too Fast

From what we're told you didn't drink,
And it wasn't because of a sudden blink.
It is because you were going too fast,
And put one life to rest at last.

Too many people were in the car at one time,
You won't admit you committed a crime.
Maybe now you will learn,
Not to go too fast taking a turn.

A happy couple now broken apart,
The one still alive has a broken heart.
Everyone in the room is crying,
As we watch the casket where he is lying.

They were together and in love,
Now she's here and he's up above.
But if he didn't drink any beer,
He might have still been here.

But you are the one who caused it to flip.
Leaving so many hearts to rip.
Maybe now you will learn,
Not to go too fast taking a turn.
