The smile slowly fades away
As she sees what she’s going through.
Good-byes are always harsh
But sometimes there’s not a thing you can do.
I haven’t said all I desired to say.
Of course, it always ends up that way.
If I die tomorrow, would you know that I love you?
Would you know exactly how much I care?
I’d tell the truth even if it kills me.
If I died tomorrow, I guess I wouldn’t be happy.
I could list a million reasons why.
Simply put, I don’t have you by my side.
If there’s anything you need to tell me, I won’t interrupt.
All I ask is for you to open up.
