Shes a girl with a clever smile, a demon inner child, shes wild
but shes free, unlike you and me
and the rest of the world too.
She swings her hips and
the weight of the world rushes
from side to side, shes just a girl
but there is magic in the way she walks
and mystery in her voice when she talks
about love to all of us
non-believers
and disillusioned deceivers.
Her eyes are laden with shadows.
Dark curves and blind turns,
and all the while her fire burns,
and she burns, and I burn,
and then we'll all burn,
in the white hot intensity of her stare
or maybe its a glare, oh well
she's over there now......
not here, not even near and I watch the
light follow her as she walks away.
Just look at those long legs sashay
and sway.
Shes the girl in the white tee shirt,
The girl with no hair and spiked collars, the girl who wears fuzzy slippers
to work, the girl who dances naked for dollars.
The girl who smiles and reveals crooked teeth, the girl who writes poems and
wears skirts with pleats.
Shes the one we all watch,
when she walks into a room
Shes the one who looks stunning
in shades of yellow and blue, and orange and red,
A kalaidescope rainbow
in my head.
