The clouds have spread their wings
Across the horizon as the birds sings.

The golden sun's nowhere to be seen.
He must have overslept so it seem.

The cool breeze whispers endlessly,
As if to proclaim another odyssey.

Time stood still like a frozen lake;
Unable to dance for everyone's sake.

A bewildering puzzle, it really is.
Why things have change as it is.

Clouds have covered the bare sky;
Nothing's left, I don't know why.
