He could of been somebody
Somebody well known
Known for something better than hanging himself
Well anyone who met him
Fell in love
That was just the kind of guy he was
So kind hearted and giving
I'll never forget what he told me
He said If you ever need anything just call
Well it's a shame now I have to talk in past tense
And the only thing I have is his picture in my locket
I've never prayed before but I pray to god he made it to heaven
Because here on earth, he's so misjudged
Printed in the paper it read Heroin Addict
He told the guards he's gonna kill himself
And they laughed... how the hell can you laugh at a statement like that?
So from the bunk bed
There he leaned
Into his jump suit noose, what an idea
So I've got all the details straight
It's like a novel inscripted in my skin
I read it everyday, it's such a sin
22 years old, no life to live
