I'm always questioning the path before me
never knowing which way to go.
I'm lost in these feelings
that I wish my soul didn't have to know.
I've meant in life to always keep
love and happiness at my side,
but sadness and hate are emotions
that I've found myself to hide.
They are not as intense
and they are really rare,
but just knowing deep down
inside that they are there,
has caused my very soul
to weep and to moan,
and to long for the light of happiness
to make me it's home.
