White Walls

Sitting here staring at these pale, white walls
Wondering what sights have befallen these pale, white walls
Reading the secrets of these pale, white walls
Pondering the burning afterlives of these pale, white walls
I am bound within the imminent domains of these pale, white walls
Forever locked behind these pale, white walls
But then...
I am released from behind the pale, white walls
Never again to see those pale, white walls
But my dreams are still haunted by those pale, white walls
My tormented screams bring back memories of those pale, white walls
My tears reflect the images of those pale, white walls
But then...
I'm back behind these white walls
This time my mind cannot break them down
No matter how hard I push and shove
They will not crumble beneath my weight
I will forever be locked behind these pale, white walls
Somewhere in my mind I know
That this is where belong
