Just let me cry just once without a crowd of bothered eyes
my tears of anguish
No one to try to feel my pain
and tell me tales of comforting lies
Don’t try to comfort, please don’t try

Let me crumble under the weight of reality
For someday it must come to realization
That optimism is just a dream
Just leave me here, resist temptation
Let me sit in my own damnation

I will comfort myself, and heal my wounds
And although they may take the years until I die
Tears are sometimes well in due
Just let me be, and don’t ask why
Please leave me here, just let me cry
