Tears run down
Can’t believe I’ve fallen.
But this time,
You weren’t there
To catch me when I collapsed.
No one was.
I can’t get up.
By now the aspirin is
Kicking in and numbing my soul.
Pretty soon the whole world
Will be invisible to me
And I’ll be invisible to the world.
And no more will I have to
Rely on you to catch me when I fall.
