You wrote me a letter today
And said we couldn't be
So much un-alike
So much we couldn't be
Maybe years will pass
until you see
That waiting for answers
Is utter misery.

You won't call me anymore
For time has made you see
That somethings waiting for you
Something better than me
No longer do you think
That our dreams will come true
So long to all those memories
that I once held for you.

So sitting here, I see
Thru a cigarettes hazy view
That life without a love is empty
But it seems fuller without you.
I'll miss our glancing stares
And whispers of our love
I'll bury all the memories
And all that I thought of.
