Amongst the full moon,
The vampyre stirs,
With a soul dead and buried,
A deadly curse,
A bite,
All it takes,
A mark,
Remembrance of a mistake,
Lingering in the moonlit shadows,
Vampyres, werewolves, demons galore,
Free of emotions,
Fun is all of what’s in store,
One with the night,
That’s what I want to be,
Worshipping the night’s shadow,
That’s what I want as me,
A creature of the underworld,
I shall think not,
Forever in the darkness,
Is where my soul will rot,
Freedom from the forever-haunting daylight,
Lock me into the night,
Freedom under the stars,
Just give me the bite,
The demons are watching,
Their eyes with the red glow,
What it’s like to be them,
Is what I want to know,
I want to run with the wolves,
And howl at the glowing orb in the sky,
Let go of the wolf within,
With the full moon hanging in the sky,
Someone free me,
Let me glow in the dark,
Let me fly,
Into the night sky,
Forever forgetting,
The light of day,
And a creature of the night,
Is what I’ll stay.
