I see you there
With all those people
Friends maybe
But I am only a stranger
And I notice the pain
In your blood shot eyes
so red
I know the pain
that rests inside your head
these things you hide so well
you smile for them
your friends,
you put on an act
but they don't see what lies underneath
what bloody, ugly things they'd find
on such a pretty girl

Your fake smiles fool them everyday
and delicately placed jewelry
hides those red lines
what do you mean they don't go away
you mean things aren't better
red turns to purple
and then what
what happens when your whole arm turns purple
and you cant hide it from them
what will you do
what will they say
will they still love you
or will they shy away from it
the ugliness they don't understand
what will you do
when they find out
your life's a fake
