Children reaching for a radiating light
Lost in an abyss of crumbling walls
Climbing the ladders of societies standards
False light shining to the vulnerable children

No harsh reality to innocent eyes
“Education is the key to the wondrous stars!”
There are many sides to house of success
Prevaricating that all will succeed
False light shining to the vulnerable children

Nonetheless they climb the rocky walls
On a simple thought, a simple light
Perhaps it is all one can believe
A false light at the top of the abyss
