How I Love Him

Till the night breaks away from the day,
Ill find somewhere else to stay.
My love is near,
Always close to heart.

Beneath a moonlit sky,
It seems impossible that I,
A mere mortal,
Could revel in the passion
Of the lover's moon.

A kiss shared twixt he and I,
It makes my spirits soar so high.
As we part,
We venture our gaze upward,
To look upon our moon,
Wreathed in mists and golden light.

It is said that this moon
Raises passion enough to make lovers swoon.
But it did more for he and I,
Brought our souls together once more.

We return to the others,
A mixture of greif and joy.
We are loath to part our company,
But happy that we had it at all,
Hours together,
In each others arms.
Oh how I love him....
