my cold shelter

And do you
Do you believe I can bare to think of you
And all the things you dragged me through
Is she still smiling, he’ll ask

Did I ever mention I think of things we used to do
That I cry and I have no reason to
Because you gave me more than a few excuses to hate you
And that I wanted to stomp on your beating heart

There’s people that deserve life more than you,
You wont ever treasure it

I’m in the race
Making sure I don’t glance at you
And for every time I think of you
I take one more drink
And an angel sings
He’ll never again be by your side

Find a new shelter
This one’s lost its comfort
You can no longer call it home
There’s no pleasure
When every night you spend with him
You shiver in the cold pouring down rain

Now as I sit alone
It seems a lot better
Than any of your pain
I could never tell you how I felt again
How I wasted two years with you
Never finding myself again clung onto your lips
