What I did could have taken my life away
Then I wouldn't get to enjoy each passing day
This mistake I will always regret,
for many people I did upset
I know there were many people who cried,
because you all knew I could have died
Now I realize what I could have lost,
it would have been the most terrible cost
I could have lost my ability to explore
I could have lost the chance of seeing my friends anymore
I could have depressed everyone I love and know
I could have lost my right to live, love and grow
I know that from the team I lost all respect,
and this I do wish I could correct
I want to thank those who did help me through,
the horrible thing that I did choose to do
But now I have learned and it's in the past
And just for the record, this time was my first and last
