It's a rainy day
and the sun has gone away

I'm sitting here with nothing to do
nothing to do, but miss you

Don't get me wrong
I haven't been away from you very long

But I miss you so much
I'm longing for you and your touch

Everybody is sleeping silently
the only sound is the rain hitting the roof violently

Each raindrop fell from heaven as a tear
A tear signifying my sadness from you not being here

The rain has made an ocean inside my heart
An ocean full of tears for every time we are apart
