You told me the things you wanted me to hear
As you sat on my bed
Wrapped your arms around me
And whispered in my ear.

You started on my lips
And worked your way down
You said lets play a game
So like the foolish girl I was
I agreed.

You suddenly seized my arms
And slammed me down
You tied me down to my bed
Glared me in my eyes
And spoke through clenched teeth
Who’s going to help you now?

I couldn’t believe what was happening
I tried to yell for help
But, it wasn’t any use
No one could hear my cries.

As you layed on top of me
Taking away my dignity
My pride and my trust
You managed to snicker.

I couldn’t believe this
Who was this monster who I thought I knew.

I just don’t know who you are anymore.

As you kissed my bare skin one more time
And said if you tell
I’ll kill.

I couldn’t take it anymore
It all went black.

When momma came home and found me
What do you think she thought?
How do you think she felt?
Do you know what she went through?

When I woke up again
Laying in a hospital bed
The first thing I thought of
Was how you fooled me into loving you
Why did I have to be so stupid?

No,
Wait
I wasn’t the stupid one
You were
For trying to take my pride and trust away.

You may have succeeded
Yeah, you’re right
This is going to haunt me the rest of my life.
Why did I have to go through this so young?
Why did anyone have to go through this?

I’m never going to understand why you did it
I’m never going to trust you again
I just want that court case to go through on my side
Where you will never hurt another girl again.
