Tears

This solitary tear lingers on a single eyelash
Forever it will cling to my palish flesh
Its salty exsistence will last an eternity
But the pain that caused it will soon evaporate
The memory will bear a weight upon my mind
A weight that I can hardly continue to bear
I must if I wish to become a stronger
person
My heart has thousands of tiny wooden
thorns
They press like needles on one's
flesh
The pain you cause will last an eternity
Like this tear, the thorns, like your memory
