office poetry

serrated paperclips
mark my memos
with a skid of gray,
jiggling keys
sound and ping
as I tap away,
computer speakers
please speak softly,
something other than your ding,
swivel chair,
so unfair,
that you do not lean,
office door
you're such a bore
just like me,
window washer,
dangling dangerously,
how about we trade,
give me liberty,
because this feels like death,
except for office poetry.
