Before the dawn

I have become so lost and entangled, so twisted in faith
I’ve even lost sight even of my own irony.
I’ve lost sight in this void of many things dear to me.
I took a chance in decieving myself,
And now it seems I am unforgiven in this world.
To share in the consequence of lies
I realize now how I have been childish in both reasoning and in pride
Think I am unforgiven to this world
Step inside the light and see the fear
whether in or out of the light a silver lining just isn’t enough
to make even some of my wrongs seem at all right...
so I shed my tears...I even try to straighten up and fly right
but how difficult even that has become in a life, in a world so filled with
hate..I am but a dot in this world.
Me, Myself, I’ve got nothing to prove.
It seems so far I have come down this road,
Only to find that it ends here, today, it is a dead end.
A comparison one could easily make with life;
A dead ended road that ends with quite a drop.
Fall from the normal into indifference,
And watch as time and space falls away.
Watch as all of the lonely nights filled with dispair are striped away.
At every wrong turn, and even after every lost step I took,
you were still there. As I swung from the unseen noose of turmoil you stood
silently to catch me in your arms, So loving.
Somewhere deep within, realization takes hold and I know that we cannot wake
again from the depths of this dream...
Lost before the dawn light peaks o’er the horizon
This is not real...but this is ours.
