The Absolute Killers

She's so oblivious,
to even the small things
She's so optimistic,
hope, she always brings

She's so smart,
her answer is always right
She's so pretty,
what a beautiful sight

She just doesn't realize
the things she does say
The simple, yet painful words,
the absolute killers of the day

To her the words are harmless,
though they cut so deep
The absolute killers hurt,
up your spine they creep

She may say one word
or just one small thought
But she doesn't see
the tears it has brought

She's always so proud
and walks oh so tall
But her killer words
cause many to fall

She speaks with power
The power of a knife,
one with the decision
of a change in life

She laughs in innocence
and drowns in guilt
All happiness inside a person,
the absolute killers did wilt

She will quickly agree
and yet still appall
She's still on a roll,
for many more will fall

Her words will go too far
And she will eventually see
She'll see her "simple" words
and how painful they can be

Her absolute killers were given to her,
by the deadly work of fate
She won't be able to stop them...
she won't control them until it's too late

The absolute killers will kill
She will lose a beloved friend
She will really hurt someone
That someone is her, in the end
